At the Crossroads

Certainly these have been days filled with uncertainty and events that seem illogical and mystical especially to those who are people of "faith" - "real faith" in the Almighty Sovereign God of the Universe. Change that we deem unnecessary or uncomfortable is difficult for us because we prefer a life and a God that is "predictable."

Life's delays and uncertainties while for us are viewed as a mystery and open for our misunderstanding and fear; are instead for God opportunities to teach us trust, obedience and the possibility of course correction. Of course when these things actually crowd their way into our lives we often have more questions than answers. This is the point at which we must wait at the crossroads and in His presence. We must by all means know with assurance that He truly has our best in mind and that He is faithful to bring to pass that which He has designed for us, all in due season. And further we must know that indeed, from the pen of the Great Apostle:

" And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn[n] among many brothers and sisters. And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself. And having given them right standing, he gave them his glory. Romans 8:28-30 NLT
