Join me for my second message in the series "The Normative Christian Life." The message is entitled, "Walking in Patient Obedience."

In the second epistle of John, he skillfully weaves together three themes: truth love and obedience. Taken together, John makes a potent argument that to walk with Jesus then means “walking in obedience to the truth of His commandment, to walk in love by loving one another.”

The key to understanding the Gospel is simply that it is all about relationships. In the beginning of humanity, God observed that "it is not good for the man to be alone." We were made for relationships, with God and with each other. In this message I will seek to assist us in understanding what God was doing in sending Jesus to restore the broken relationship with mankind and to set the standard for all human relationships in the model of the Master's life and work among us.
